Welcome to Friends of Malawi
|
Friends of Malawi (FOM) was founded in 1987 by returned
Peace Corps Volunteers who had served in Malawi. Our purpose is to
promote cross-cultural understanding between Malawians and FOM
supporters and to provide small grants for worthy projects in Malawi.
Participation is open to all RPCV’s, PCV’s, international volunteers and
others with an interest in FOM’s vision and mission.
FOM currently has more than 800 supporters throughout the world,
including:
·
current and returned Peace Corps volunteers and their families
·
Peace Corps staff
·
former Volunteer Service Overseas volunteers (VSOs)
·
former Canadian University Service Overseas volunteers (USOs)
·
UN volunteers
·
USAID and US Embassy staff
·
Malawians and other people interested in Malawi
